We want you to love the jewelry as much as we do, and so we do our absolute best to represent each item properly, researching the history of each piece and testing for gemstones and gold when possible. Having been in the business for over 35 years, we are confident that our assessments are correct. That being said, each piece is a unique treasure and our descriptions are based solely on our expert opinion.
Antique and vintage jewelry has almost always been previously worn, is beautifully imperfect, and is also usually delicate. We ensure the pieces fasten properly and note any damage discovered during cleaning and researching in the product description. Please take care when wearing and storing the jewelry to make sure it lasts even longer. If you have any questions about care or wearing please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Returns and Refunds
In addition to the Etsy Terms of Service, we have established the below return policy in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase.
Bourne Antiques welcomes the return of most pieces that do not meet your satisfaction, however there are a few certain instances where we cannot accept a return. Pieces that have had inventory tag damage or removal, or where the piece has been damaged after it was shipped are not returnable.
All eligible pieces returned may be subject to a 10% restocking fee up to the discretion of the seller. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the piece in the condition which it was received, using a properly secure and insured shipment method. Returns must be announced within three days of receipt, and the return completed within seven business days. We will process the return as soon as possible after receipt of the item in good condition.
